A good weather day could mean a good turnout for elections throughout the state of Ohio.
And that includes Washington County...where voters came out to cast ballots on a variety of local and state issues.
There's no local issue on the ballot county-wide...but one issue attracting Marietta voters to the polls is a proposed school levy and bond issue.
"My daughter teaches, and I think they need some new schools because their classes are in the basement of the school," says voter Lowell Bonnette. "I think it would help the kids a lot if they had better classrooms."
A hot-button issue throughout the state of Ohio is a proposal to build casinos in the state's largest cities.
If approved, it would reverse an overwhelming opposition Buckeye State residents have had to gambling over the past two decades.
