PHS One Of 13 W.Va. Schools Participate In Veterans Program
Thirteen West Virginia high schools are participating in the annual take a veteran to school day program.

Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- Thirteen West Virginia high schools are participating in the annual take a veteran to school day program.
Veterans will visit the schools from Nov. 9 through Nov. 19 and give students first-hand accounts of their experiences.
U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller is hosting the program. He says its real-life history lessions will have a meaningful impact on students.
Participating high schools include Brooke, Parkersburg, Morgantown, Robert C. Byrd, Hurricane, East Fairmont, Huntington, Buckhannon-Upshur, Capital, Musselman, Fayetteville, Summers County, and Bluefield.
