I am glad to see this happen and as far as criticizing every aspect of it .. no interest in doing that .. I am a resident of downtown Marietta for 30 years and appreciate all the improvements, whether by the city or businesses or individuals. Keep up the good work.
WOW!!! Waiting all this time for construction to start and what is the first thing they do? Repair the parking lot. WOW!!! I would have thought that would be the last thing to do once all of the construction has been completed. Only in Marietta!!!
How can they put asphalt down when the asphalt plants are closed until April? Sounds like it is going to take as long as the paving of Virginia Street last year.
That would be a great idea, Lee. Unfortunately, the mayor and city council care more about the tourists than they do their own people. Couldn't have homeless people scaring the tourists, now, could we?
Hey, How about a homeless shelter sounds like a idea no one has floated yet. After all it is getting cold,an better than a cardboard box.
What a waste of taxpayer dollars, and more waste of tax dollars operating the White Elephant after it is finished because it will not be able to substain itself...
