Update: The Wood County fire investigation team will work Thursday to figure out what caused the fire that destroyed a Marrtown Road home Wednesday night.

Fire crews say the blaze broke out around 10:30 Wednesday night at a home on Marrtown Road near Hill Avenue.

Crews say they don't think anyone was in the house when the fire started and nobody was hurt.
