The yearly book sale that Trinity Episcopal Church in Parkersburg puts on has come to its final chapter Saturday afternoon as crews are working to box up all the left over books.
The books will be going to the Salvation Army for re-sale.
All the proceeds from the six day sale will go to a dozen local charities.
The dollar amount will only be released in the church's bulletin on Sunday.
Lynette Neilson a Co-Chair of the book sale said, "It's part of being a downtown church. We see the need, and we want to help. That's what churches are for."
This was the 60th year for the book sale.
Neilson said it started with one little old lady and a table full of books, and now it's like a monster.
