Wirt County Assessor Debbie Hennen is facing a misdemeanor charge of intimidation of a witness.
According to the criminal complaint... two people interviewed as part of a separate investigation say they were bullied or yelled at by Hennen.
Josh Downey, a special prosecutor out of Roane County, will be handling Hennen's case.
When contacted Monday, Downey had no comment on the investigation.

A long-time Wirt County assessor is facing charges Monday night.
Sergeant Aaron Nichols with the Elizabeth post of the West Virginia State Police confirms that charges have been filed against Wirt County Assessor, Debbie Hennen.
He cannot confirm what those charges are, but says that he'll be able to release more information once he consults with the special prosecutor handling the case, Josh Downey.
Downey is a special prosecutor out of Roane County.
Hennen has been a long time county assessor in Wirt County.
