Volunteer Firefighter Charged With Arson
Wood County authorities say David Richards, a Pond Creek Volunteer Firefighter, is being charged with arson for allegedly starting a brush fire.

Richards is charged with a felony count of arson.
He was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court around 11 p.m. Thursday night.
His bond was set at $25,000.
He faces up to 5 years in prison and/or up to $5,000 in fines.

Wood County authorities say a Pond Creek Volunteer firefighter is being charged with arson.
They say 19-year old David Richards, of Murraysville, admitted to detectives that on November 17, on a county road near Belleville, he set a field on fire using motor oil.
Richards is set to be arraigned tonight in Wood County Magistrate Court.
