A Marietta woman will spend 1 year behind bars for Tampering With Evidence, after police say they caught her trying to flush drugs down a toilet.
25-year-old Stephanie Wright appeared in a Washington County Courtroom Friday.
Officials with the Washington County Sheriff's Office say it happened July 22 during a drug bust on the 800 block of Second Street in Marietta.
They say Wright attempted to flush a bag of crack-cocaine and ecstasy pills down the toilet.
A judge sentenced Wright to 1 year in jail for the charge.
