Washington County Sheriff's deputies say that around 10 p.m. Thursday night, a night clerk at the Par Mar in Little Hocking said a suspect attempted to purchase beer and cigarettes and then produced an unopened pocket knife, demanding money from the register.

The suspect is approximately 5'5", 180 pounds with thick, dark eyebrows
He was wearing a light colored knit cap, a black shirt, baggy jeans and a brown zip up jacket.
