Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- Artists and arts organizations can get tips on how to apply for grants during a series of free workshops planned across West Virginia.
The State Division of Culture and history's arts section plans to hold grant writing workshops over the next two weeks in Wheeling, Parkersburg, Morgantown, Martinsburg, Elkins, Princeton, Lewisburg and Marlinton.
The agency says grant writing tips were the most popular topic during "listening tour" sessions that it held in August and September.
Workshop topics include procedures to be used for an application, new initiatives and changes in guidelines.
