It was a smoky scene late last night as fire overtook a house in Vienna.
Just before midnight, the Vienna Fire Department responded to the blaze on the three thousandth block of 8th avenue.
Officials say the fire started in the attic of the house and was called in by a neighbor.
Chris Roye of Vienna says, "started smelling smoke... came outside to see where it was coming from. Saw it in the air, looked around to the house. Saw the smoke from that house and after that called the fire department... and they showed up and took it over."
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
The house is believed to be in the remodeling process according to neighbors
