A convicted child rapist was back in a Marietta courtroom Wednesday, as he begins the process to appeal.
Daniel Keck the second was found guilty of dozens of sex related charges involving children in October.
He was sentenced to 70 years behind bars, and was also ordered to forfeit his house and other personal property.
Wednesday Keck requested his sentence be postponed and he be let out of jail to focus on his appeal, but that request was denied.
Keck was granted bond, but judge Ed Lane set the amount at $5 million, not the $500,000 requested by Keck's attorney.
He is currently in the custody of the attorney general.
