Washington County commissioners finalized the 2010 budget Thursday and said they had to make cuts.
Commissioners said next year's appropriations budget for county funded agencies had to be cut by 5 percent to a little more than 62 million dollars.
Commissioners tell WTAP they tried their best not to make cuts but the money wasn't available.
One factor commissioners said is revenue from property taxes is down.
Cuts are expected to be made to almost every county funded agency but how this will directly affect each agency will be announced Monday.
