It may be a pretty to look at, but driving in wintry conditions is an entirely different story.
Winter once again rears its chilling head and continues to complicate conditions on the road ways.
But here in Wood County, local drivers say they're ready for whatever comes their way and taking all the precautions they need to, so they are able to stay safe.
Nathan Crislip says he double checks to "make sure my windows are clear, make sure I'm paying attention to the roads, and if i see someones break lights come on i make sure i slow down in plenty of time to stop."
On top of poor driving conditions, there's the added worry about the other drivers, and how they handle the weather conditions.
Carrie Hickman, a Vienna residents, says other drivers scare her more than weather conditions, "because you don't know what the other person is going to do. You don't know how much experience they have in this type of weather."
As the snow continues to accumulate, and the roads to deteriorate, the most frequent tip we heard from drivers was to make sure to give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination safely.
Which may make for a more relaxed drive, even in the face of stressful conditions.
