A local chef has a chance at winning $5,000 thanks to her creativity in the kitchen.
Pamela Shank of Parkersburg has been selected as a top five finalist for the second annual Martha White Muffin Mix Challenge.
Bakers from across the country had to create unique recipes including the Martha White Muffin Mix.
Pamela made a Caramelized Banana-Nut Upside Down Cake.
But now Pamela needs your help to win the contest.
Head to www.marthawhite.com, follow the links to the contest page, and vote for Pamela's recipe.
Voting opens at Midnight Monday night and will go through Noon on February 28.
In October, Shank was also chosen as one of the finalists in the Pillsbury Bake-Off.
