After last weekend's massive winter storm road conditions are on resident's minds. And now with more snow in the forecast the question is whether or not our salt supply will hold out.
WTAP headed out to the Wood County garage to see if Friday and Saturday's storm diminished the supply of salt.
Steve Carson, the Highway Administrator of Wood Co. says "we didn't use near as much salt as in other snow storms because it was warmer. On Saturday, we did a lot of plowing and cleaned the roads off really well. And we didn't have to use much salt at all."
Carson said that even though snow is likely to fall over the next few days the supply is strong and Wood County is ready for more snow.
