More than five dozen citizens turned out for a Parkersburg Tea Party "meet the candidates" forum Monday night.
Six candidates vying for Alan Mollahan's seat spoke for five minutes each, and answered questions from the audience.
Though their backgrounds and passions varied, there were common themes among their presentations:
From the need for jobs, to the feeling that the government has lost touch with the people...each offered their own plans for the future.
Despite the chilly night, organizers say they were very pleased with the turn out.
