Dozens of folks entered, but only one could win.
On Monday night, a logo for Parkersburg's Bicentennial Celebration was selected!
Out of 78 entrants, local artist Jason Thomas' artwork inspired the winning design.
Thomas says he's pretty excited to know that he'll see his artwork around town.
It will be featured on dozens of items and at several locations throughout the year.
The slogan for the celebration is, "Parkersburg: Revolutionary for 200 Years."
City officials said they wanted a logo and slogan that captured the activities planned to celebrate Parkersburg's 200th anniversary this year.
