Arch Coal Awards To Local Teachers

It was award day for some very deserving teachers. Tuesday, the Arch Coal Teacher Achievement Awards were handed out to 12 deserving West Virginia teachers.
Two of those teachers are local. David R. Stone of Fairplains elementary school and Mary Wright of Parkersburg High School were recognized as outstanding teachers.
Recipients of the award receive a cash prize, distinctive trophy, and a classroom plaque.
