Area high school seniors teamed up Saturday to raise money for a local charity. Senior boys from Parkersbug, Parkersburg South, and Williamstown High Schools were competing in a Powder Buff volleyball tournament hosted by Parkersburg High. All proceeds go to Nick Swisher's charity, "Swish's Wishes."
Chelsea Conley, Senior Women's Club President, says "Swish's Wishes is going to take that money and disperse it through the community with local charities dealing with needy children and families."
The event was organized by the Parkersburg High School's Senior Women's Club, their goal was to raise two thousand dollars for Swish's Wishes.
