Saturday afternoon about 50 supporters greeted West Virginia's First Congressional District Candidate, David McKinley at the GOP's Regional Victory Headquarters, on Grand Central Avenue.
McKinley has been campaigning in the region and said he has noticed people are not only concerned with the economy, but the brokenness of Washington which is something he said come November he hopes he gets the chance to change.
"I'm going to be opposing Nancy Pelosi and I'm going to rock the boat. That's what we have to do. Someone has to go to Washington and make a change because rocking the boat is what we need, " said McKinley.
Local politicians and the State Chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party, Douglas McKinney, was also at the grand opening for the GOP's Regional Campaign Headquarters.
