WTAP News Parkersburg Mayor Bob Newell was the first to test his NASCAR driving skills on a racing simulator in Parkersburg through Saturday.

Parkersburg Mayor Bob Newell got a taste Friday...of what it's like to be a NASCAR driver.
the mayor was the first to try out a simulator...which, using state of the art graphics, takes the "driver" through a mock race.
The simulator is part of a display...also including a show model of a race car...promoting NASCAR's Nationwide series.
it's located at the McCrady-Jones Insurance office off Murdoch Avenue.
