The rain has held off just long enough Saturday for dozens of people to enjoy Harmar Days in Marietta.
From face painting, to candle making, and even an apple pie contest, handfuls turned out to take part in the history of Marietta. Business owners new to the area say they feel fortunate to be part of the long standing tradition and neighborhood.
"Since I've moved over here... I'm part of the neighborhood. And it's a very nice neighborhood, and it's a very good neighborhood. Very friendly, very socially oriented," says Bill Burton, a Harmar Village business owner. "So, we're supporting Harmar Days, which is the history of Harmar, which is the oldest neighborhood in the city."
Harmar Days celebrations run all throughout the weekend.
