Compensation To Be Paid To Former Hospital Employees

They've made a settlement. Former hospital employees may soon be seeing money for time they say they never got.
Over 600 former employees of Saint Joseph's Hospital say they lost all their sick leave benefits when the former owner of St. Joeseph's Hospital,Signature Hospital, sold to Camden Clark Medical Center.
When this happened the employees demanded compensation for the sick leave benefits.
Ginny Conley and George Consenza tell WTAP that Signature Hospital has agreed to pay 4.7 million dollars in compensation.
Both Conley and Consenza say they are happy to finally get the employees their money earned.
A jury trial was set for Monday, January 28 but will no longer happen.
A hearing will be March 29th for the Judge to view and approve the settlement.
