UPDATE: Stab Victim Remains Stable At Columbus Hospital
WTAP News An 80 year old Coolville woman, who was beaten and stabbed and left for dead was flown by medical helicopter to a trauma center in Columbus.

Stab victim Ota Vincent remains stable at a Columbus, OH hospital where she is again able to speak after being brutally attacked Monday night.
Sheriff Pat Kelly believes money was the motive and has a person of interest, though no arrests have yet been made. The attackers got away with Vincent's purse which was said to contain about $300.
UPDATE:
Authorities have identified the victim as Ota Vincent, 81, of Coolville. She remains in stable but serious condition in Columbus.
UPDATE:
The elderly victim in Tuesday's home invasion has been taken by helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, due to her stab wounds.
She remains in stable condition.
Authorities are continuing to withhold her name at this time.
The Athens Co. Sheriff's Office believes robbery and theft of drugs is the motive.

An 80 year old Coolville woman, who was beaten and stabbed and then left for dead, is now recovering in a Parkersburg hospital.
The Athens County Sheriff's office is investigating the home invasion that happened Monday night.
The woman, who's name is being withheld due to the investigation, called 911 around noon Tuesday and told dispatchers that someone entered her home and then beat and stabbed her Monday night.
She says she cannot remember much of anything, except for a light being shined in her face.
Sheriff Pat Kelly says that he believes the woman was unconscious through the night. She was found with cuts to her face and stab wounds to her chest.
Sheriff Kelly believes robbery is the motive for the crime.
The victim was taken to the St. Joseph's Campus of Camden Clark Medical Center.
