Flood Warning CANCELED for Washington County
WTAP Weather A Flood Warning for Washington County on Friday was canceled early, as rain showers dwindled this afternoon. A list of impacted roads is included.

The Flood Warning for Washington County has been allowed to expire early.

The flood warning remains in effect until 6:15pm this evening for small streams in Washington County. This includes the cities of Marietta, Beverly, and Belpre.
At 11:00 a.m. flooding was reported along Route 26 in Washington County. The water was continuing to rise there and high water signs are posted.
The 11:00 a.m. river gauge at Bloomfield along the Little Muskingum River reported a stage of 18.9 feet. At this stage, lowland flooding adjacent to the river as well as flooding of adjacent roadways, including Route 26 and Route 260 occurs.
A flood warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported. Stream rises will be slow and flash flooding is not expected.
However, all interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
