A new way to get around
A federally funded Ohio busing program will be making stops in Marietta and Parkersburg.
Go Bus will make rounds here in the Valley starting February 1, 2012.
Stops include Front Marietta, the Parkersburg Transit Center, and potentially Marietta College.
You can choose one of three routes-- taking you to Athens, Columbus or the Columbus Airport.
Cincinnati is also available.
If you're not wanting to travel the whole way... there are also stops in between to be dropped off or picked up.
Tickets run from five to 15 dollars one way.
All Go Buses have restrooms, wi-fi, and electrical outlets.
Tickets can be purchased at the pick up sight but it is preferred to get them ahead of time.
