Imaginations were treated at the Mid-Ohio Valley Model Railroad Club open house in Parkersburg on Saturday.
Five thousand square feet of the Noe Office Equipment and Supply Company basement houses the M.O.V. Model Railroad Club where model trains of all sizes are repaired, shown and enjoyed.
Club President David Marquis says new technology continues to contribute in model train popularity.
"I'm talking about the number running at one time, most generally those are computer controlled, digitally command controlled computers," says Marquis. "Each locomotive has a chip in it and is individually called up and can be handled that way."
If you would like to see the trains for yourself, the club is open on Tuesday and Thursday after 5 p.m.
