An alarming trend in Parkersburg.
Police are addressing a rise in vehicle break-ins.
This video is from January 11th in an alley behind Williams Street.
You can see a male breaking into a couple cars here and stealing items from inside.
Sergeant Greg Collins says there have been more than 80 complaints of vehicle break-ins in Parkersburg since the beginning of the year.
He says the department is taking a proactive approach by focusing on the matter.
