From West Virginia's capitol rotunda to public schools statewide, more than 70,000 students demonstrated their dancing ability to promote a healthy heart.
Youngsters from Vienna Elementary School joined their fellow students in performing the "cupid shuffle" hip-hop line dance.
And the school's physical education instructor said it took a lot of practice to do just a few minutes of dancing.
"It took us a few days to learn the dance, but they really took off and added their own thing to it," said Cindy Turley. "Even our Pre-K kids were in their classrooms learning how to do it."
More than 300 children performed the dance at Vienna Elementary.
Students from Belmont Elementary in Pleasants County also took part in the statewide demonstration.
