The Mid-Ohio Valley Model Railroad Club hosted their 12th Annual Holiday Open House Saturday afternoon.
Members of the community were treated to numerous layouts complete with picturesque scenery and smoke blowing trains.
Club President, David Marquis, says trains are the one gift you can give that will never decrease in value.
"Trains are not like your house, they're not like your car," Marquis says. "They don't depreciate. Which means that you can take a $50 train today and ten years down the road, it's still running and still giving you that same happiness, it could be worth $500."
The club will hold another holiday open house next weekend, December 10th from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
