Charleston, W.V. (AP) -- Two West Virginia cities are getting federal grants to assess contaminated properties for redevelopment.

U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall says Huntington and Ronceverte each will receive a $200,000 grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Brownfields Program.

Rahall says the money will be used to assess contaminated sites, inventory and prioritize the properties, and support community outreach.
