Hundreds of friends, relatives and local residents streamed into a funeral service Saturday for a central Ohio marine killed last week when his vehicle hit a roadside bomb in Iraq.

Twenty-one-year-old Lance Cpl. James Kimple was remembered at the service at Bloom-Carroll Middle School, about 20 miles southeast of Columbus.

Rows of about 75 motorcycles belonging to two motorcycle clubs surrounded the school gym before the service, and later escorted the funeral procession to a nearby cemetery, where Kimple was buried.

Four marines were killed may 2 in Al Anbar Province. The Pentagon says Kimple was among them.

Kimple, a married father of three children, was on his second tour in Iraq.
