Columbus, Ohio (AP) -- Another day, another increase in the cost of gas in Ohio.
AAA says the statewide average for regular is now a record $3.90. That's up a penny from Thursday, 52 cents higher than a month ago and almost 70 cents more than at this time last year.
The average price for diesel in Ohio also has reached another new high, at about $4.46 a gallon.
With each record-setting day, motorists are trying to figure out how to save.
The auto club says some are rethinking their Memorial Day travel plans. A national survey estimates there'll be about one percent fewer cars on the road over the upcoming holiday weekend. That's still more than 31 and a-half million vehicles.
