Bowling Green, Ohio (AP) -- The National Weather Service says local officials have reported at least one tornado in Western Ohio, and witnesses say a train was blown off its tracks near Toledo.
The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings and thunderstorm watches Monday evening for much of the Northwest corner of the state.
The Weather Service says trained weather spotters reported a funnel cloud in Wood County, near Bowling Green. Officials also say they spotted a tornado in Middle Point, near Van Wert.
Witnesses say a freight train was blown off its tracks in Clay Township, southwest of Toledo. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is blaming the wind.
