Williamsport, Ohio (AP) -- A central Ohio woman has exchanged her office job for organic farming.

Becky Barnes has no regrets, even though her family's Honeyrun Farm in Pickaway County is turning only a small profit.

Barnes says people eat what they're growing, so her current work is having the kind of impact you don't get working in corporate America.

According to federal data, small family farms make up about 90 percent of farms nationwide, and earnings tend to be modest. Ohio has about 65,000 farms that each made less than $100,000 last year.
