Milton, WV (AP) -- Once again, a famed glassmaker is helping celebrate the anniversary of West Virginia's statehood.
Blenko Glass Co. Is selling a limited run of 146 specially designed pieces for $146 each at its visitor's center in Milton.
It will only be for sale at the visitor's center on Saturday, June 20, which is West Virginia day, marking the 146th anniversary of the state's entry into the Union during the Civil War.
Assistant Vice President Katie Trippe says the statehood pieces usually sell out within an hour of opening.
The piece, a decanter in the color seabreeze with a crystal stopper, was designed by Arlon Bayliss, an independent designer who has made three West Virginia day pieces for Blenko.
