Montana Gov. Featured Speaker At WV JJ Dinner
WTAP News Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer will be the keynote speaker at the West Virginia Democratic party's Jefferson-Jackson dinner in Charleston.

Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer will be the keynote speaker at the West Virginia Democratic party's Jefferson-Jackson dinner in Charleston.
State Democratic party chairman Nick Casey said Wednesday that Schweitzer had accepted Gov. Joe Manchin's invitation to speak at the Oct. 31 dinner.
Schweitzer was elected as Montana's Governor in 2004 in his first attempt at public office.
The farmer and rancher was re-elected last year and follows manchin as the chairman of the Democratic Governors Association.
Tickets for the annual dinner are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are $75 apiece.
