Tampa, Fla. (AP) -- Increasingly, police are being called to schools to investigate everything from cyber-bullying and schoolyard fights to brutal hazing rituals.

Proactive parents aren't afraid to confront school officials or take the matter to court, and schools are training students and teachers alike to spot and report bullying.

Cincinnati Attorney Joe Braun says there are more lawsuits because the bullying is starting to become more physical, more sexual.

Braun sued on behalf of the family of a high school basketball player attacked by three teammates while they waited to go to practice in Milford (Ohio).

According to the lawsuit, one of the teens exposed himself and rubbed his genitals on the boy's face.
