W.Va. Aviation Conference Lands In Charleston

Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- Aviation officials across West Virginia are coming to Charleston to discuss airport security, fuel costs and other issues.
Yeager Airport director Rick Atkinson said congress is expected to take action this fall that may include more money for airport inspectors and to modernize the aircraft control system.
Gov. Joe Manchin, U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller and Rep. Shelley Moore Capito are scheduled to address the seventh annual West Virginia Aviation Conference.
Sponsored by the West Virginia Aeronautics Commission and Yeager Airport, the conference begins Sunday and ends Tuesday.
