Huntington, W.Va. (AP) -- Investigators believe an arsonist is responsible for a series of fires that have broken out in a Huntington neighborhood.
Huntington police detective Chris Sperry says the fires are troubling because they endanger innocent people.
Five suspicious fires have occurred in the Fairfield neighborhood in nine days.
The latest blaze burned a small unused trailer early Wednesday morning.
Each fire occurred at a vacant structure in the early morning hours.
