Crash Sends Two to Hospital Save Email Print

A two vehicle accident sends two people to the hospital.

The crash happened at the Route 47 entrance ramp onto Interstate 77 around eight o'clock Thursday morning.

Wood County Sheriff Department's Sergeant Dave Westfall says the driver of a yellow Hummer, John Brown, was attempting to make a left turn onto the Interstate entrance ramp and pulled out into oncoming traffic side-swiping a vehicle driven by David Pooler.

Sergeant Westfall says both brown and the passenger in Pooler's car, Kimberly Owens, were takento the hospital.

Owens is in stable condition. Brown's condition is not known at this time.
