A more than 129 year old covered bridge suffered another setback as flood waters scatters it's pieces downstream, blocking the roadway

The Ohio Department of Transportation used a crane to move the bridge off State Route 26 in Washington County.

Timbers from the 1876 bridge were left along the roadway after last fall's flooding in hopes it would be re-assembled soon.

The pieces were floated less than a quarter mile down from where they had been stacked under tarps awaiting reassembly.
