Members of the West Virginia Amusement and Limited Video Lottery Operators Association met with the group over lunch to discuss the pros of gambling.

According to a study by the association, gambling has contributed to nearly 400 new jobs in the area in the past three years, and they say that's just the beginning.

"Wood County alone, the cities and municipalities in the last calendar year received over half a million dollars in revenue from the limited lottery terminals that operate in Wood County," says Tom Fittro, the president of the Gambling Association.

According to the association, $1 million of the their revenue goes to helping problem gamblers.

Monday's speakers are the second part of a Rotary series dealing with gambling pros and cons.
