The windy weather proved problematic for one barge that was blown into a railroad bridge near downtown Parkersburg Tuesday afternoon.
Officials with the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources say initial calls stated that wind gusts turned a coal barge sideways and it clipped part of the railroad bridge.
Crews had to come and pump water out of the barge.
The US Coast Guard and CSX crews are investigating the situation.
