Miss West Virginia in Town
WTAP News Some area school children heard some words of wisdom Tuesday afternoon as they make their way into a new chapter of life.

Tuesday was graduation day for the sixth grade class at Jefferson Elementary.
Their guest speaker was none other than Miss West Virginia 2004, Julia Burton.
Burton spoke to the students about the importance of being kind to others and to follow their dreams.
She also told stories of challenges she has overcome.
Miss West Virginia will have her title for only two weeks, when another Miss West Virginia will be crowned for 2005.
