There are many issues to a campaign. The candidates views on local and domestic issues, protecting our cities and our country, the economy and jobs,a healthier country and one that takes care of our sick. The list goes on. It's sad that people choose to pick out a persons indiscretion from ten years ago instead of concentrating on the issues which affect all of the citizens. What happened then was a family matter that was turned into a wasteful circus by others. This narrownindedness is very damaging to the principles our founding fathers set forth for a fair ggovernment. We've had President's with far worse indiscretions than an extramartial affair.
While there may have been some flaws in during Bill Clinton's presidency, our country and economy was in a lot better shape at that time. I do not condone the "Monica" scandal or lying. JFK, is said to be one of the greatest presidents in history, can you say Marilyn?? How many presidents, just haven't gotten caught? Unfortunately, I don't know many politicians (democrats or republicans) who haven't lied at some point in their lives/careers. My vote is for Hilary. Let's get this country back in shape, and get our troops home.
I do not thank him for coming. It still amazes me how people have any respect for that man. Can we say Monica? The man had an affair in our white house, and then lied about it on stand. I guess maybe, I expect more than that. I am only in highschool, but my respect is lost for a man who cheats on his wife. I also have no respect for liars. Thank God I am not a democrat!
Thank You for coming to our town, although there were many college students in attendence, there were just as many if not more hard working towns people in attendece. We care deeply for the country and the future of our children, military personnel, retirees, the veterans, the college students, and the poverty level in our town. Thank You and your crew for visiting our town and hope you will visit us again. Sicerely, Cherry J. Dixon Athens, Ohio
