Worthington Elementary School was the scene of a graduation ceremony with distinction Monday night.
West Virginia Chief Justice Joseph Albright was the guest speaker for commencement ceremonies.
Thirty seven sixth grade graduates received their diplomas and were congratulated by the chief justice, who told them to be proud of their accomplishments.
The class and families were also entertained by a computer slide show of their last year, assembled by the school librarian. For many, it provided a last look back as they look toward a bright new future next year.
