Some Wood County kids got quite a treat during a week of Bible school.

Miniature horses made quite a splash Thursday night at Parkersburg City Park.

More than 100 area kids and adults got a special treat. For some it was the first time they got to pet or kiss a miniature horse.

Thee Creature Comfort Animal Assisted Therapy group out of Coolville brought two horses to Parkersburg so the Bible school group could get some hands-on learning.

The group is comprised of seven United Methodist Churches from throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley.
