WVU Studies ATV Accidents
ATV safety, especially for children, remains a big issue nationwide.

A West Virginia University study that found on average, 10 kids a day end up in a hospital bed after an ATV accident.

The Concerned Families for ATV Safety Group wants Congress to conduct an inquiry into the costs of childhood ATV accidents and to ban their use by all children under 16.

There is a bill pending in Congress that may change how the vehicles are made.

West Virginia has tried unsuccessfully to pass two laws regarding ATV restrictions.

None of the accidents over the weekend in the Mid-Ohio Valley involved children or persons under the age of 16.


Travel
